IP Carrying bag Review!

It's been a while since my last post- sorry about that.  Not intentional, but I got hit with that lovely flu that is going around, which then turned into Pneumonia.  I've never had pneumonia before, that is some pretty NASTY stuff.  I've been down and out for a few weeks and am FINALLY starting to feel Normal again.  It's been rough!!!

My Instant Pot obsession continues- and I have no shame.  Today's post is all about this new awesome Instant Pot 8qt Carrying Bag accessory I purchased.  Because I've been MIA, I will do a second post today that will include a recipe with VIDEO for Ground turkey stuffed bell peppers.

This bag IS ON SALE!!!!!!!!  I paid full price for mine (Dang)

8qt Carry Bag Review:

PROS:
-Padded for extra protection- great for storage OR traveling
-Front pocket is perfect for holding extra seals, manual or cookbooks
-Top compartment can easily hold lid separately and/or small accessories
-Carry handle
-Adjustable Shoulder Strap
-3 sizes available for 3qt, 6qt or 8qt

CONS:
-Lack of "built in" ventilation (easily solved by leaving the zippers open slightly)
-Large/bulky for the 8qt size (it's a compromise for great protection though!)
-Side zipper would be ideal to get pot in and out easier

Instant Pot Egg Bites!

These are my FAVORITE Egg Bite  molds and they are quite useful and make many delicious things in my instant pot!!  I have utilized these to make egg bites, and mini brownies (I have serious lack of self control when it comes to sweets, so these molds are PERFECT!!!).  These molds fit in both the 6qt and the 8qt .  8qt instant pot 6qt instant pot Egg bites CAN be frozen and re-heated!   I usually make 4 molds worth of egg bites and freeze 2 of the 4.  If I remember (ha!!!) I try and pull them out the night before to defrost a bit in the fridge.  If I don't, 2-3 minutes on defrost is all I need to warm them up.  If they are completely defrosted, I usually do 45 seconds in the microwave. HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE DELICIOUS EGG BITES YOU ASK?? Ingredients:  12 eggs beaten 1 package bacon, cut and cooked on stove Green onion Shredded Cheese Directions: 1. Add 1-2 cups of water to your Instant pot 2. Fill mold...

Cold Start Yogurt Step by step still Video!

When I bought my instant pot , the LAST thing I EVER thought I'd be making in it was yogurt.  Honestly!  But, now I can't get enough and neither can my kids.  It's money saving (HUGE!) and its delicious! I'm really excited at the moment because Instant Pot is having a big sale on many their products on Amazon and I just ordered myself a few items I've had my eye on such as the vortex , ranging from 50-58% off depending on size!  I also grabbed the Ace plus blender at 40% off.   IP duo nova is currently 30% off, the duo Evo (sous vide model) is 17% off and the Aura Pro is 33-38% off depending on size! I use the cold start method in my 8qt Instant Pot and the following INGREDIENTS: 1. 1.5 gallons of Fairlife WHOLE milk 2. 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (others use 2, I find 1 works perfectly and not as much sugar) 3. 2-3 Large spoonfuls of yogurt starter (plain greek yogrut) **Optional** add 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla PUTTING I...
