Old Navy has made some Magic Pants- the UNICORN of all Jeans

This post contains #affiliate links

If you know me, you have probably seen me spend a lot of time in yoga pants and leggings over the last few years.  Why?  Because they're incredibly stretchy, comfortable, and leggings are very versatile and can be dressed up or down, and also, did I mention because they're stretchy??

Lets be honest here...I've been on the hunt for jeans that don't give me a muffin top, don't pinch and poke in sensitive places (3 csections yo!), that don't FLATTEN MY BUTT! (I may be a mom, but I don't want that "mom butt") and that are just overall COMFORTABLE for all day wear while chasing around a toddler and and baby (who generally ends up being carried because- he's a baby). They also have to NOT COST AND ARM AND A LEG because #familyof7.  We have no hand me downs between the triplets and the two youngest kids, so clothing around here gets to be costly.

It would also be ideal to find these magic pants in a variety of styles, maybe even colors?  I know, I know, I'm asking for a Unicorn.  But a girl can dream...right?  I'm thinking styles as in- some ripped knees, some jagged bottoms.  Different washes of jeans, heck maybe even a black, grey, maroon?

Then, one day I walked into Old Navy AND THERE THEY WERE!  The Unicorn of all jeans.  The Magic Pants!!!

These Old Navy Mid Rise Skinny "Magic Pants" are incredible!
Check them out in a slightly darker wash!
Or maybe some High Rise Dark denim magic pants?

So, calling all moms...
You HAVE to check these out!

These jeans fit my body like nothing I've ever found. As I said before, they are stretchy (so they're like wearing yoga pants- but much fancier!), yet they stay in place and most importantly for me they help flatten my stomach as they have a higher waistline (that doesn't compromise the way my butt looks). Check them out!  Especially while they're on sale!

If you're about saving money or getting cash back and haven't signed up for Ebates yet, check them out!  If you use my referral code (click here), we both earn cash back AND all your purchases from Old Navy will get you 6% cash back right now, Plus free shipping for any order over $50!  Just so you can get a visual, I'm at $29 and some change cash back for purchases just since the end of November.  I don't do all my shopping online, but I definitely DO a lot of shopping (gahhh 5 kids!!!!) online, especially at amazon.  I cannot believe I am getting "paid" in the form of cash back, for purchases I wanted or needed to make anyways.

Instant Pot Egg Bites!

These are my FAVORITE Egg Bite  molds and they are quite useful and make many delicious things in my instant pot!!  I have utilized these to make egg bites, and mini brownies (I have serious lack of self control when it comes to sweets, so these molds are PERFECT!!!).  These molds fit in both the 6qt and the 8qt .  8qt instant pot 6qt instant pot Egg bites CAN be frozen and re-heated!   I usually make 4 molds worth of egg bites and freeze 2 of the 4.  If I remember (ha!!!) I try and pull them out the night before to defrost a bit in the fridge.  If I don't, 2-3 minutes on defrost is all I need to warm them up.  If they are completely defrosted, I usually do 45 seconds in the microwave. HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE DELICIOUS EGG BITES YOU ASK?? Ingredients:  12 eggs beaten 1 package bacon, cut and cooked on stove Green onion Shredded Cheese Directions: 1. Add 1-2 cups of water to your Instant pot 2. Fill mold...

BABY PROOFING- Don’t forget the furniture!

BABYPROOFING We hear about baby proofing all the time, and when we talk about it most people's minds go to the most common items such as oven doors ,  outlets , Stove handles , cabinets , doors and even toilets .   Unfortunately, a commonly overlooked babyproofing item is furniture…YES, furniture! I am a facts and data kind of person, so I want to discuss the statistics first to help illustrate why this is such an important step in babyproofing. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (CPSC) February 2022 Tip-Over Injuries report, there were an annual average of 22,500 emergency department treated injuries between 2018-2022, and 581 fatalities between 2000 and 2020.   Of those 22,500 injuries 10,000 were from children under 18 years old and of the 581 fatalities 472 were children under 18.   A few tools and a safety strap under $8 can save your child’s life. ( 2020 Tip-Over Report (cpsc.gov) ) Back in 2009 I had a close encounter with what...
