Who doesn't need more storage in their garage?  I don't think I know a single person who doesn't.  My husband was at work the other day, and the baby was sleeping so Makoa and I set out to get some work done!  Yes, LADIES, this is something WE can do!  The directions and template that came with this product were perfect, and I did it myself! This product is the Fleximounts brand, and it is the Wall Shelf Garage Storage rack.   This is the 2x4 size, although it comes in 1x4, or 2x6 as well.  I am so please with the sturdiness of the product, the cost for the product, the instructions, and how EASY it was to install all by myself.  This is an incredible storage option. (And for those wondering why I installed it right there, dead in the center and not more to the right or left so I could add another self- well, the builder didn't exactly put the studs the correct width apart in several places in the garage (and I'm sure the house too!) and so this is what I ha

That last post got a little long, so I thought I'd put the mashed potatoes all on their own post! Mashed Potato Ingredients: -4-12 potatoes -1/2 cup butter -1 container of chive and onion cream cheese -1-3 garlic cloves -1.5 cups of water Seasoning Mix: -1 Teaspoon garlic salt -1 Teaspoon seasoning salt -1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Putting it all together:  1. Rinse Potatoes and place them inside the Instant Pot 2. Add 1.5 cups of water to the Instant Pot 3. Sprinkle Seasoning mix on top 4. Turn on Instant pot and press Manual, set timer for 20 minutes (If I'm doing more than 6 potatoes I bump my time up to 25-28 minutes depending on amount and size of potatoes) 5. Allow NPR (Natural Pressure release) for 5-10 minutes 6. Using hot mitts, remove inner pot and carefully dump water from Instant pot into the sink 7. Use a hand masher (no need for a blender unless you REALLY want one!) to mash potatoes 8. Dump in butter, garlic and cream cheese.  Replace IP lid and lea

For dinner tonight we made a Whole chicken in the 8qt Instant pot and mashed potatoes in the 6qt Instant Pot . Whole chicken Ingredients: -Whole chicken -One Lemon -2-4 cloves of garlic (to your liking) -1/2 an onion -Mix together (seasoning mix):       -1/2 teaspoon garlic salt       -1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt       -1/8 teaspoon pepper       I also add some Weber's Beer can chicken seasoning -3/4 cup of red cooking wine -1/4-1/2 cup chicken broth -2 tablespoons olive oil in the instant pot -4-6 tablesoons in a separate container -4-6 Toothpicks (optional) -Optional: cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil to broil chicken Putting it all together:  1. Stuff the inside of the chicken with 1-3 lemon slices, 1/2 the chopped garlic, all the chopped onion and a few pinches of the seasoning mix 2. This post contains #affiliate links If you know me, you have probably seen me spend a lot of time in yoga pants and leggings over the last few years.  Why?  Because they're incredibly stretchy, comfortable, and leggings are very versatile and can be dressed up or down, and also, did I mention because they're stretchy??
